Little Genie is a funny little creature who was found under someone's home, was brought to us and she has grown up to have a BIG character.
Genie was named after the several wonderful workers from Genesis Energy Hamilton who donated their time to volunteer at the shelter in 2012 and took a shine to her.
Genie is a very shy girl, who is a bit of a tough cookie so will try and 'staunch' you out if you are brand new to her. She takes a bit of time to warm up to new people and would suit a patient family who will give her time to get to know them. While she is small in stature she is huge in talk - she likes to make herself known when she thinks you aren't paying attention and has quite the baritone meow!
She has been with us since she was such a tiny little creature that she hasn't really known anything bad and we'd love to find her perfect forever home where she can fully come out of her shell and will be a loved and cherished family member.
