Tales from the Trust
At Cats In Need Trust we have seen a lot of cases come through our doors and we have dealt with a variety of situations - some are heartwarming and some show just how cruel some people can be to defenceless animals. Below are several of our case studies that chart the stories from beginning to end.

Sultan - The Little
Survivor
This emaciated kitten, with cigarette burn marks on him and
cigarettes embedded in his skin, was found in
the
gutter by an 80 year old woman. She was alterted to the situation as
she noticed many people walking by and
laughing at something cowering in the gutter.

Crisis Kittens
These little 'crisis kittens' were found mid-January 2008
completely alone
and with no sign of their mother. They were brought to the care and
attention of Cats In Need where they had to be bottle-fed every two
hours to ensure they got the nutrients they needed to survive.

Christmas Day Kittens
Christmas Day 2007 gave us an example of the worst, and the best, of
human
beings. These four little black kittens, about four weeks old (and one
already very sick with infected eyes) were callously dumped to
die either by dehydration or worse.

Paddlefoot
Little Paddlefoot was born in early December 2006 and became very sick
with cat flu and gunky eyes. He only weighed 300 grams and we
were worried we may lose him. Lots of work was involved in attempting
to get Paddlefoot to live. Click
